Services
Delivery
We know that all customers don't have trucks and trailers to pick up trees and shrubs. We offer delivery for larger orders within a 7 mile radius for $35. Anything outside the 7 mile radius will be determined on a case by case basis. We also offer pine straw delivery.
Consultation
The owners and staff are available while you shop to discuss your flowers and landscaping needs. If you would like to schedule a dedicated time to meet with someone, just call ahead to plan a time. We'll walk through the nursery and discuss the plants that might work for your space. To better prepare for the meeting, please bring photos, the measurements of the spaces, and how much sunlight your spaces get.
Planting
If you need assistance with the installation of your flowers, shrubs, and trees, our staff is available to help. We can remove existing landscape and prep the soil for your new plants. Fees are determined by the number of plants, if old shrubs need to removed, and the amount of soil prep needed. If needed, we can come to your home and evaluate your space and offer suggestions to help meet your gardening goals.
In Store Potting
One of our favorite things to do at the nursery is to help our customers design their pots. Whether you buy one of ours or bring your own, we'll assist you with picking out flowers that compliment one another and grow well in the area you have picked out for them. If you have several container, we ask that you call us before hand so we can dedicate time with you. You are more than welcome to drop them off and pick them up later. Depending on the size of your container, most pots will contain 3 to 5 annuals.
Seeding
One of the services that continues to expand at the nursery is direct seeding. We work with local gardeners to start their vegetable transplants from seeds they prefer. Seeds are planted in 36 cell trays which gives the home or market farmer the best bang for the buck.. To get started, order the seeds from your favorite supplier. If you would like for us to order the seed, we will need a couple of months notice. Seed supplies can run out. The cost of the seeds, shipping, and type of vegetables play a role in determining the price of the flat.
